This paper covers the development of a physical context-aware sound synthesis prototype. It discusses the development and use of ‘Trilobyte’ an experimental electronic instrument which’s sound was dependent on the type of user interaction taking place and the conditions of the environment it was played in (lighting conditions, temperature and strength of magnetic fields in the area)
